My 2018 Book List

New Year, New Books!

Ahhh yaaaasssss! The smell of fresh book pages! I’m not a hard copy purist, but you can’t deny that there’s something awesome about the smell of a book!

For the past few years, I’ve created what I like to call a Foundation List of books that I “must” read throughout the year. I just realized this is the nerd version of New Year, New You. Seriously. It’s my required reading for the year that is meant to help me finish the year as a better version of myself. Cool, right? Does it work? Sure, when I actually read them. Moving on…

In 2017, I picked roughly a book a month. Peep the pic of my reads–>. Yes there are 13 books because there’s always one you just can’t not add. For 2018, I’ve expanded the amount of books on my list (rather drastically) mainly because I couldn’t choose! Clearly being indecisive is something I should work on this year. Yet, there are no books on this subject on my list. Oh well, we’ll see what happens in 2019.

As you’ll see when I eventually stop rambling, I divide the books into loose categories. I try to keep the list fairly well rounded, but there’s no complicated formula to how I choose the books. I just pick what I think I may like!

If we are reading the same books, let me know! We can exchange notes.

I know what you’re thinking. Yes, this is a foodie/lifestyle blog. I’m going to get to the foodie part! So many friends asked me to share my list for the year, and this was the best way to make that happened. So foodies and the like, stay tuned!

Without further ado…
