Hey! Welcome to my digital baby, Dash & Stir!
For those of you who know me, you know this has been a LONG time coming. Can you believe I finally pulled the trigger (like for real this time)? For those of you who don’t know me, let’s just say you missed all of the hype. To say I’m excited is an understatement.
Now that we’ve all arrived, let me tell you a bit about why we’re here. Y’all, I love food! That’s the gist of why I’m writing this blog. Actually, I take that back; I love flavor! I love it so much that I want to talk about it all of the time.
I’m one of those people who talks about the flavors of a dish or cocktail and gets that glazed over look in their eyes like they’re in dreamland. Yeah, that’s me. If you’re reading this, you’re probably something like me too.
So why Dash & Stir? I figure good food always has a dash of something special followed by a good stir to mix it all in. The same can hold true for drinks. I’ll be talking about all of special dashes I find in my food experiences. I plan to post reviews of awesome restaurants and bars I visit, flavor-filled experiences I have, recipes I write (or review) and dope ass foodie finds I come across. If it’s food related, I’ll likely write about it.
Oh and yes, it’s a food blog, but I am more than food so you’re likely to find a random off-topic blog here and there like my very first post here about my yearly book list. Nevermind the date on that (yes, it took me another few months to get my act together). That reminds me that I need to do a check-in post.
