We have officially entered Fall season AKA Spooky Season, AKA Fantasy Fall, and my October TBR list is fully in-line with the seasonal bookish vibes! Keep reading to see if my list matches yours. You may even find your next best read. I have high hopes for this list!
While I have surpassed my official Goodreads Challenge Goal of 52 books, I’ve set an unofficial new goal of 100 books for this year. So my next few TBR lists will be on the aggressive side so I can hit my mark. I currently have 35 more books to go! As I type this, it feels insane, but I think I can manage it.
I filmed a quick short so I’d have a little accountability with this TBR. Your girl needs all of the help I can get! LOL

My (Somewhat Aggressive) October TBR includes (books from the video):
- I Have Some Questions for You by Rebecca Makkai
- Spells for Forgetting by Adrienne Young
- The Love of My After Life by Kirsty Greenwood
- Legendborn by Tracy Deonn
- James by Percival Everett
- Here Lies a Vengeful Bitch by Codie Crowley
- Where Sleeping Girls Lie by Faridah Àbiké Íyímídé
- Heartless Hunter by Kristen Ciccarelli
There are an additional few that didn’t make it into my October TBR YouTube short. We’ll see if I can get to these too!
- The God of the Woods by Liz Moore (It’s set in summer, so if I don’t get to this one, It’ll get shelved until next year.)
- A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson (I really want to watch the show on Netflix after I finish the series.)
- Between Friends and Lovers by Shirlene Obuobi (I just tossed this romance in for fun!)
Subscribe to my YouTube channel for recaps and updates! I will be posting videos there first.
I want to know, what’s on your October or Fall TBR? Have you read any of these? Leave your reads in the comments!
